Impact on Yield Attributes and Yields of Groundnut Varieties under Different Sowing Windows in Western Maharashtra, India

Present experiment was undertaken to study the “Impact of yield attributes and yields groundnut varieties under different sowing windows in Western Maharashtra Plain Zone” at Department Agricultural Meteorology Farm, Centre Advanced Faculty Training (CAFT) Meteorology, College Agriculture, Pune, State (India). The laid out split plot design comprised four viz., V1: JL-501, V2: RHRG-6083 (Phule Unnati), V3: TAG-24 V4: JL-776 Bharati) as main S1: 25rd MW (18th 24th June), S2: 26th (25th June 01st July), S­3: 27th (2nd 8th July) S4: 28th (09th 15th sub treatments. number pods plant-1, weight 100 kernel (g), shelling (%) influenced by treatments were recorded harvest. Yield contributing characters pods-1 (45.25 43.29) (12.99 13.82) found significantly higher variety over RHRG-6083, JL-501 TAG-24, whereas percentage (75.12 76.60) followed RHRG-6083. Pod (26.59 28.14 q ha-1) haulm (39.61 36.7 TAG-24. Amongst all varieties, is superior extended JL-501. Sowing during observed be most suitable optimum for considering growth attributes.
